Archie sends notifications about project activity, team changes, and billing events. The notifications page lets you control which events trigger an email or appear in the in-app feed.
What can I be notified about?
Notifications fall into four categories:
- Project events — build started, build finished, deployment success or failure, errors.
- Team activity — new members, role changes, invitations accepted, comments.
- Billing — upcoming renewals, failed payments, credit warnings, plan changes.
- Product updates — release notes, breaking changes (toggleable).
For each category, you can choose email, in-app, both, or none.
How do I change my notification preferences?
Open Account → Notifications. Each category has a row with email and in-app toggles. Save happens inline as you change toggles.
Per-project overrides
If you want different defaults for a specific project — for example, all events for a critical production project but only failures for a sandbox — open the project settings and override per category. Per-project settings take precedence over your account defaults.
In-app notifications
The bell icon in the top nav shows unread count. Click it to see recent notifications grouped by project. Click a notification to jump to the relevant surface (a build log, a deployment, a billing page).
Email digests
Instead of one email per event, you can enable a daily digest for low-priority categories like product updates and team activity. Critical events (failed payments, build failures) always send immediately.
What about Slack or webhook delivery?
Slack notifications are an organization integration — they apply to all members of an org or project. Webhook-driven notifications run through Archie Core webhooks inside your built app.
